That is right.
Two of you lucky readers will be the recipient of 1 FREE one size reusable diaper.
All you have to do: You need to leave a comment on this blog or on our Facebook page sharing one way you plan to help out the earth this year, you also need to include your e-mail address so I can get in touch with you if you win. If you do not leave your e-mail address you are not eligible to win. Helping out the earth can include but is not limited to; switching to reusable diapers, switching to reusable wipes, planting your own vegetable garden, running your dishwasher less, riding a bike or public transit instead of using your car, etc. It doesn't matter if it seems as large as buying an electric car or as small as switching out one household light bulb,
it all makes a difference.
How am I helping out the earth this year?
I just bought a clothes line and have started hang drying not only my diapers but also clothing. I also am in the process of switching out all my non-green cleaning products for environmentally (and child) safe cleaners.
Deadline.
You have until Earth Day April 22nd at 10:00pm to leave a comment. I will randomly be picking 1 winner off Facebook and 1 winner off Some Uncommon Blogging. You are welcome to enter a comment on each page to better your chances.
But please only enter 1 comment on each page.
I will announce the winner on April 23rd on Some Uncommon Blogging and on Facebook.
GOOD LUCK.
HAPPY BABY, HAPPY WORLD

My son (2nd child) is also due in May :)
ReplyDeleteWe did disposables with out daughter (though I wanted to do cloth!! -husband wasnt a fan of the idea yet and refused!) but I won this time and we are getting ready to start cloth with this new baby! :)
We are also able to have a garden this year, have a place to line dry our clothes, and have also down-sized to just one vehicle as well! Nothing too special or different than anyone else's answers but Im quite excited! *wink
I changed to disposable diapers and wipes. And we have a vegetable garden, yay!

I use cloth diapers, but I haven't used cloth wipes yet. I'm going to switch to cloth wipes, I'm sure this will make cloth diapering a lot easier.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm going to use less paper towels as much as possible.

Oh oh pick me, pick me!!
ReplyDeleteTo better the earth, June and I walk to the grocery store, the library, the park, and anywhere else that is in walking distance often so I dont have to drive every time. We also recycle just about everything including all those baby food containers we go through.

I plan to seriously consider using cloth diapers for our baby coming in September.
ReplyDeleteHope me and the Earth win this year.
We are planning on cloth diapering our little baby and using cloth wipes! Very excited about learning how best to do it!

Whoowee. We're going meatless for the summer months to take advantage of the abundant local produce and reduce our processed food footprint! We love our reusable dipes;)

I am planning on helping the earth by buying my friend Cheree (expecting in August) cloth diapers since my kids don't need diapers anymore (thank goodness). My husband also plans on riding his bike to work all through spring, summer, and fall. I have been using my scooter instead of my gas hog to drive places by myself. AND we try our hardest to recycle and reuse. :) P.S. If I win I'm gifting the cloth diaper so I'm being charitable too. That counts for something, right? :)
